๐Ÿšด Saturday Ride | Devizes โ†’ Marlborough โ†’ Burbage โ†’ Pewsey Vale โ†’ Honey Street โ†’ Home

This week the main group is heading out on a cracking ~82km loop that takes in some of Wiltshire’s finest โ€” rolling lanes through the Vale of Pewsey, a sweep through Marlborough, up onto the high ground around Burbage and the Savernake Forest fringe, then back through the iconic Pewsey Vale before swinging by Honey Street for that well-earned coffee stop. ๐Ÿฐโ˜•

We’ll be rolling out of Southbroom School at 9:00am, heading east via Manton and into Marlborough, before climbing up through White’s Hill and pushing on toward Burbage โ€” where we might also grab an early snack stop if the legs need it! From there it’s across the top and a lovely descent on the B3087 down into the Vale, winding through Woodborough and the classic Pewsey Vale lanes, with Honey Street Cafรฉ waiting on the home straight. ๐Ÿ›–

Distance: ~82km Elevation: Estimated 900โ€“1,100m (pack your climbing legs!) Weather: 14โ€“18ยฐC โ˜€๏ธ, feels like 13โ€“16ยฐC, wind 17โ€“19 km/h with gusts up to 35km/h โ€” no rain forecast, so it should be a great day out. A light windproof or gilet is worth tucking in a back pocket for the more exposed sections on the Plain.

A big, beautiful route through some of Wiltshire’s best countryside โ€” come and enjoy it with us! ๐Ÿ’ช
