🚴 MAIN GROUP — Saturday Ride
Autumn is officially here, but Saturday is giving us a lovely send-off. It should be a mild 19°C and mostly cloudy, with only a 10% chance of rain and a gentle 5 mph breeze. A light layer for the start is all you’ll need.
This week’s route is 79 km with at least 603m of climbing. We’ll head east out of Devizes on the quiet lanes towards Pewsey, then carry on through Burbage and the Collingbournes. From there we climb up to the edge of Salisbury Plain, the high point of the day, where the views are big and the skies are wide. After that comes a long, satisfying descent, and we’ll roll back into Devizes via Horton Road with the legs feeling great.
