Club Rides Re-start Saturday 22nd August 2020.

We will ride as groups of six, each group (five plus a Ride Lead) departing at different times.

Initially, we will start with four groups, starting at 08.00, 08.15, 08.30 and 08.45. (depending on demand, we will adjust this number). The groups will ride a published route in a clockwise/anticlockwise direction alternately, (08.00 clockwise, 08.15 anticlockwise, 08.30 clockwise etc).

We will use different meeting points for each group, in the vicinity of Devizes Leisure Centre and it is crucial that when booking a ride, you note the starting point of the group you are booking. Please respect that if meeting at DLC, congregate away from the building on the gravel car park.

Rides to be booked through the www.eventbrite.co.uk website.

We ask that if any members are suffering from any illness or experiencing any symptom that could be COVID related that they do not ride until they have recovered.

Please respect the social distancing requirements when meeting up, riding and dispersing.

Please understand that whilst these arrangements appear formal, we trust they will not be onerous and they are in the interests of all and aimed at working within the prescribed government framework. We appreciate your co-operation and assistance in making them work.

Please go to the clubs EventBrite page to register for a ride, https://devizestowncyclingclub.eventbrite.co.uk.

Please select your preferred ride and click the green Register button.

The Club will receive an email notification of all bookings, so once you’ve booked, just turn up at the correct meeting point at your selected time.

You will appreciate that this is our first trial with this arrangement and we will be looking to ride at a pace, agreeable to the group.

It is not feasible for us to start chopping and changing groups so if any riders wish to ride with particular individuals, please liaise with them in advance and book on the same ride.

We welcome any constructive feedback on arrangements that will help up enhance and improve things.

Once again, many thanks for your patience and support.

Regards.
The Committee.
