Saturday 30th August Club Ride

🚴‍♂️ Saturday Main Ride – Charity Challenge Support Ride – EARLY START 8AM 🚴‍♂️

This Saturday 30th August we’ll be riding in support of Paul Elston, who’s taking on a huge virtual Ironman-style challenge over three days to raise money for charity, he’ll be doing:

🏊 2.4 mile swim – Friday 29th
🚴 112 mile ride – Saturday 30th
🏃 26.2 mile run – Sunday 31st

For the Saturday ride, Paul will be completing a 2-lap, 112 mile course at a steady 16mph average pace – aiming for a 7 hour ride time.

🔹 Start: 8:00am from Southbroom School
🔹 Route: Southbroom ➡️ Bishop’s Cannings ➡️ Cherhill ➡️ Royal Wootton Bassett ➡️ Dauntsey ➡️ Startley ➡️ Chippenham ➡️ Studley ➡️ Bromham ➡️ Devizes
🔹 Options: Join for 1 lap (56 miles) or push on for the full 2 laps (112 miles)
🔹 Stops: Quick roadside comfort/fuel breaks + 20 min grab-and-go at Greggs after lap 1

This will be a continuous, consistent ride – not a smashfest but not leisurely either. Bad weather won’t stop Paul! 💪

👉 Come along and support Paul and Rich on what promises to be an epic endurance ride. Even if you’re not up for the full distance, joining for one lap is a great way to show support.

There will no other club rides tomorrow.
