Saturday 15th November Club Ride + Easy Rollers

πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ Saturday Main Ride – Marlborough Downs Loop πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ

Join us this Saturday for a stunning 69km ride with a proper 573m of climbing, departing from Southbroom School at 9:30am. We’ll roll out through Horton and climb steadily towards the Marlborough Downs, passing through the picturesque village of East Kennett before reaching the historic Beckhampton roundabout near the ancient stones.

The route then sweeps us through the lovely Stockley valleys before we tackle the rewarding climb up Bowden Hill – your legs will definitely earn that coffee stop! We’ll wind our way back through Poulshot, with a well-deserved break at the Rowdey Cow to refuel for the final hill home.

With a high of 13Β°C and cloudy skies forecast, it’s perfect cycling weather – not too cold, not too hot, and no sun in your eyes on those climbs! Still worth packing a gilet for the descents though. The autumn colours through the lanes should look moody and spectacular under those grey November skies.

See you at the start line – because the best adventures happen when we ride together! β˜•πŸ°
